CREATED AT SMOKE & MIRRORS
The Ad Council asked us to throw some ideas around for a billboard campaign they were working on. The focus was on reversing the effects of childhood abuse with positive actions, words, and practices. What was once thought to be everlasting effect has recently been understood to not be entirely true.
My focus was to create a design based on the idea of "remapping" the brain. In that sense I used a color palette that would resemble light and neurons firing to create change. The overall dark tone would be offset by the brighter warmer colors "changing" the brain with an overall positive feeling. Since this was a print campaign I was getting in to fine details that show cellular changes occurring.
